I think that it is necessary to have someone that you consider your best friend. Someone other than your significant other that is. I have 3 best friends. My dad, my best girlfriend and of course my husband. There are just some things where one is better than the other to confide in. I don't think it is right to keep everything inside of you. Eventually it will all come out and sometimes in a not so good way. I rely on my closest friends for just a friendly hello or a deep down conversation and cry on your shoulder type of times. I would hope that they would count on me for the same things. I take friendship very seriously and I don't know what I would do without them.
