| |  I remember being a ghost a couple years in a row as a kid. But i think it was just because we were broke. That one was easy a white sheet with two eyeholes. I also remember being a scarecrow one year because i just wore some old overalls and stuff a bunch of hay everywhere with some sticks. I think my mom liked to do that kind of thing when i was a little one so of course she always had cool ideas so we did them. I can't wait till my 11month old wants a halloween outfit that mommy will make. That'll be fun.

| |  Oh yes, eaforeman, we made our own costumes many time when we were young. Of course, we were ghosts, once, using sheets with eyeholes. Those, though simple, are still among my favorites.
I was once a scarecrow, a cowboy, a football player, a native American, and other things. In fact, I cannot recall ever NOT making my own costume. Wow, I'd never thought about it before.
My brother and his best friend were an inchworm. Our mom's made the costume and it required two people

| | It looks like we were all a ghost at some point and time lol I remember doing alot of makeup for all of us. There were four of us kids and we did vampires and quite a few monsters lolI think it was more fun creating and making our own look. iT WAS A BIG PART OF THE FUN! sOMETIMES THE COSTUMES WERE TOO LONG OR TOO SHORT,,,BUT IT WAS FUN. | | Back in those days, we got so much candy that we still had candy at Christmas time! I remember the huge amounts and we got cool things like pop corn balls. It was so cool.My dad made some of the best pop corn balls too. I remeber we used dark koolaid for our witchs brew and told the mean kids we would turn them into frogs...lol | | | |

| |  We didn't actually sew the costumes but we did make up the gypsy and pirate and ghost costumes. Gypsies were fun cause we got permission to go through moms costume jewelry. Always fun for young girls.
