I had two in mind. I love to have a local chef called Chef Wan because he is very creative and inventive chef. He always experimented with new dishes. The other one would be Nigella because she looks good and so does her food. It doesn't look like the chef type dressing or presentation but the food does look homey to me.

It would have to be Devin Alexander from Discovery Health Channel. I've made many of her meals and they are so good, but much lower in fat and calories than what you would normally make. They don't lack any flavor either.

I definitely have to agree with you! Alton Brown is one of my favorites as well..he's just so cool in mixing science & cooking together, & you could better understand the reason behind the cooking process--really informative & fun at the same time! So yes, I'd choose AB as well, and I just bet that it would be such a blast to have him cook for me! @morethanamolehill (1586)

I don't watch many cooking shows But I have been watching this guy on PBS Named Jose Andres. His show is called "Made in Spain". It's great! he spends half of the show in Spain on fishing boats or at a Vineyard or A restaurant on the beach showing where the food comes from and how it is prepared there and then he comes back to his kitchen in Wash. D.C. and prepares simple but great dishes. Last week he made a kind of potato salad and he started by making the Mayonnaise for it! Really cool music to.
I have been to Spain,Italy, France, And Tunisia and it's the one country where I thought about staying. But I was in the Marines at the time and they frown on that sort of thing.=(

I'd like to try something made by Rachel Ray. I always watch her show and she seems to be a great cook. She doesn't look like a professional chef, more like a talented cook. The food she prepares aren't weird and gourmet but edible and innovative. :) I really like her style. I don't like ALton Brown at all no offense!

I would love if Sanjeev Kapoor will come at my Home and prepares one time meal for me and my family. The reason is that apart from being an awesome cook he is a gentle person can hence can tell me the ricks of cooking delicious food.
