Single Parenting  

I am a single mother of two children. I am fully raising them on my own. I find the best advise that i recieved was put those kids first. I know that kids are the most inportant in any parents lives but as single parents its even harder to fully concentrate on the children. Dont worry if there are toys around your home or if the dishes arnt done just spend alot of time with those children. I find that when my kids go to bed im exausted but you still have to make time for yourself. I like to just sit back and relax in a hot bath when there asleep. I was a very independant person when i first had children now whenever anyone askes if i need help with something i say YES. dont be afraid to say yes when someone asks to help. Believe me you'll appreciate it.
another thing to remember is if your a single mother and the father is not in the picture or even if its the other way around make sure you dont put the other person down infront of the children. If you do when they grow up they may resent you for saying things about there other parent. Let them make there own decision about the other parent.

Honestly, adoptive parents does provide many advantages, but a one-parent home can also offer positive benefits for the kids. You can sympathize with your kids about the loss of their two-parent home, but focus on the advantages of your new lifestyle and fill your home with love. Your single parent family can be a successful family!

Im a single mom of 2 wonderful boys. Im also very young for my age as well im only 22 so the only advice i could give anyone is keep your head up and stay strong if not for yourself but for you kid(s). Ive actually had it pretty hard for the last 2 years but im still going strong and making ends meet to the best of my abilty. I put my children frist nothing nor no one comes before them no matter what. At my age i should be out hanging out with my friends and doing this and that but i dont i stay home with my kids i never put them off on someone else where i go they go. From time to time my mother will get my oldest boy thats 2 yrs old and take him with her to places cause he loves going out somewhere and my youngest is 10 months and he cant walk and hes pretty heavy after a while of holding so i keep him. But like i siad the only thing thats really keeps me going is my kids and best thing to do is Know that everythings going to be alright just got to beleive and have hope and faith in yourself and know you'll be alright.
