Do you have a stage fright? How do you fight it?

Stage fright is very frustrating. I have a very strong stage fright. I even go as far as tremble and seem to choke when my name is called to introduce myself in front of many people.
I don't understand why. But I don't get nervous entertaining people and talking to them. I could teach and I could explain in front of many people but when I am told to introduce myself that's the time I get so nervous.
I am too old but I still get very nervous when I introduce myself. Is anyone out there who knows how to overcome stage fright?

Before you can overcome STAGE FREIGHT, you must first understand and accept the existence of being frightened when you are on stage or in front of many people. Next, study relaxation techniques to lessen it. Exposing yourself to public more often will eventually reduce your stage freight.
