What anime are you watching now?  

I gave up on Bleach due to the fillers. Same goes to Naruto - the fillers are just horrible.

I'm also watching Xamd, but so far...don't really like it. Hahhaa. I'm a big anime fan. I watch it every week (not enough time to make it everyday).

I totally know what you mean about Bleach and Naruto. Thankfully my boyfriend is a lot more into those shoes than I am. He watches the filler episodes and then lets me know when I can come in and start watching again. Xam'd is okay, but not one of my favorites. I feel like a lot of the stuff they are doing has been done a million times before, and perhaps also done better before as well.

Yeap, exactly. Xam'd to me is pretty normal even though the studio behind it is BONES studio. I actually don really bother to find the new episodes anymore. Hahaha. Naruto n bleach...bleh....the fillers sux =_= as in really sux. I rather read the manga for naruto. Bleach, maybe i will return to it since the fillers are over.

Hmm, maybe I should download Bleach again. It entered fillers just when things got interesting (after Ichigo beat ...what's the guy's name =_=).
I didn't finish Darker Than Black but my friend said the later episodes are much better.
Code Geass season 1 and season 2 are quite good though season 2 gets a little bit Death Note-ish in the middle. But the anime, overall, is good.

Try Soul Eater :) I love it, and so far the friends who I've introduced the anime to, love it as well.

Definitely check Detroit Metal City. It's hilarious.
It's about shy guy who wants to be a pop singer but ends up as frontman in death metal band. Whenever he wears a heavy makeup he turns into completely different person shouting the most vulgar profanities beyond anyone's imagination. Problems begin when he's double personality starts to effect his (romantic) life off stage.
It has unique style compared to other series I've watched. Every episode is about 13 minutes including opening and ending. But I must warn you, it's really vulgar (he's singing about raping and killing his parents and stuff like that)

If you like Shaman King, you'll like Soul Eater. :)
Detroit? Hmmm, I don't really like such vulgar anime since I'm not a vulgar person. hahhaa. Oh ya, there's a new anime called HAYAKO or something like that. A lot of reviews saying it's very funny. I've yet to watch it though.

Mmm, those are quite old animes, right? I must say I didn't watch some of them but my passion for anime started when I was 7 years old...after watching Dragon Ball. :P
It was such a great anime back then. And I continued my anime journey with Saint Seiya and Slam Dunk. :D

ga-rei, toradora, gundam 00 season 2, kannagi, tales of abyss = all of them seem to be quite ok for now. :D
Might watch Bleach again soon since the fillers are over.

Yea. Bleach 189 is the last episode of the filler arc. They just showed Bleach 190 this week. It's 15 minutes of recap but it's still much better than the filler. The new arc is very worth watching. You know what I mean if you read the manga.

I'm watching Bleach again. Just finished Ep 190. I didn't really follow the manga but to me Naruto seems to be better with plot and storyline. The story in bleach is quite normal and predictable. It's becoming a little bit like Dragonball with swords.

As for Soul Eater, so far so good and I also just finished Nodame Paris Chapter. Very nice and funny. Nodame is cute as ever. :D

D Gray Man finished? I thought it's only first season. The 2nd season is still going on, no?

First season of D Grayman was not that good IMO. The 2nd season or was it the 3rd, was much better. The Bleach swords are cool. Hahhaha. But i still prefer an anime with a good storyline.

Totally agree!! I was totally bored in the first season of D Gray Man.

D Gray Man i think will continue. It's another never ending anime. Level 4 monster...then level 5...6....7... never ending :D

Yup. I'm watching Soul Eater now (at episode 28).

D Gray Man is not never ending... it has ended at Level 4 Akuma.. (episode 103).

The Manga is still ongoing but I have no time to read the manga.

I've never read the D Gray Man manga before, but I would expect that Level 4 is just a beginning for more akuma with higher levels to come.

I normally only buy comics/mangas. For animes, I only watch them online to save cost. I know it's being unfair to the creators, but, I'm poor~~~

If you like dark animes, go for Ga-rei Zero :) It's quite new and it's very dark...

Hmm, I watched the first 2 episodes of NHK but I gave up after that. Not my type I guess. Romeo's Blue Skies, hmm, first time hearing such a title. What is it about?

Didn't like it? Maybe you can fancy watching it later on if you simply had nothing else to watch.. then again, we all have our own different preferences to begin with so, if it really doesn't suit to your liking, there's nothing wrong with that (^_^ )

Whoa, Romeo looks like a very complicated type of anime.
On NHK, a lot of my friends like it. Maybe I need to watch the next few episodes. I stopped at episode 1. :)

On the contrary, Romeo' Blue Skies is really simple, the plot of struggle is quite common while the events are considerably interesting since being a chimney sweep isn't that common now-a-days and the setting of the story has its charm..

On Welcome to the N.H.K. the anime is more easy and simple compared to the manga, well, that's my opinion anyway (^_^ )

For the manga, I think you can read it on anymanga.com while you might be able to view the series on crunchyroll.com (^_^ )

Try to look at the series with different perspectives in case you get tired, well, that's what I do with any series that comes my way.. (-_-")

Try some light hearted animes such as One Piece and Soul Eater :D

actually, my kids are used to watching some kind of violent series. but i always tell them that those are not real and they should never try it.

Yea, better teach them properly since there are some incidents in Japan where kids got influenced by violent animes.

Hmm, Black Cat is not that nice in my opinion. The fighting scenes are quite blurry.

The fight scenes are actually alright. But the story needs to be longer and more detailed.
But if you watch it from Start to finish then you'd be hooked like me :)
Its alot better than Naruto.
