According in this site, http://www.gov.ph/news/default.asp?i=6765 Filipinos (people living in the Philippines) are among the world's happiest people.. We are in the 6th rank out of 10 countries.. Well, I agree with this survey because no matter how difficulty our life right now especially in the economic situation we are facing presently, people still have much time laughing with their family and friends.. Filipinos don't think the problems all the time.. No matter how heavy and difficult their problems are still they have a lot of times laughing and hang out with their family and friends.. Because the views of Filipino problems are always there and no matter how many times you solve it, it always come back in different ways.. But being to your family, love ones, and friends can never be back again since as days goes by everything will changed and the past happiness will never coming back the same way.. So, what about you?? Does your country have this kind of views?? Do you think your country must also include in the world's happiest people--survey?? Here are the rank of 10 chosen countries that includes in the world's happiest people: 1st- Venezuelans came out the happiest with a rating of 55 percent 2nd- Nigeria, 45% 3rd- Ireland, 42% 4th- Iceland, 42% 5th- Netherlands, 40% 6th- Philippines, 40% 7th- Australia, 39% 8th- United States, 39% 9th- Turkey, 39% 10th- Switzerland, 38%The least very happy people are the Bulgarians, 7%, Armenians, 6%; Romanians, 6%; Russians, 6%; Ukrainians, 5%; Belarussians, 5%; Moldovana, 4%; Lithuanians, 4%; Estonians, 4%; Slovaks, 4%; and Latvians, 3%... So, what is your comment in this survey?? Do you agree?? Please share your thoughts/ideas/opinion about this survey.. You are all welcome to write or express what's on your mind... Hope to hear from you soon.. Happy posting!

i am also from the philippines and i have seen this news at tv patrol world...it is something to be happy about but it does not really mean anything to alleviate our recent situation...yes we filipinos are so recellent and resourceful but then there are really things in our country that is not tolerable like corruption in the goverment..and yes we filipinos are so forgiving and forgetful to the mistakes and crimes of our corrupt officials.."kaya nga ang lakas ng mga loob nila na gumawa ng katarantaduhan dahil wala tayong ginagawa." it is a given fact that we are happy people but sometimes we must be strict in our decisions...just because our president said sorry then we can forgive her...hindi nyo ba alam na ang yaman na ng presidente natin..pinagtatawanan lang tayo.

Well, I disagree with one point that you have.. I don't think that many people are forgiving the fault of our President.. It is just that people/civilian cannot do something about it.. Just like for example, many people are wanting to let the President remove from her position but since she is powerful, she will just asked her army to stop those people who are in rallies.. We have seen in the TV Patrol News or other news station that people/civilian are doing something to removed the president but it is just that she is very powerful that even all anti-arroyo cannot removed her because she is using her position and the power given to her to hurt people just to keep their mouth shut.. She is arresting innocent people just to let them stop expressing their thought or to stop them from rally.. That's why only few people are still continuing their principles.. These people are only those who have a strong faith while others are already scared.. They were weak because they don't want their families to be involve.. Anyway, thanks for responding.. Always keep smiling..

It only means that we don't have to be rich to be happy. There are many reasons to be happy besides having tons of money. I have seen that the least happy nations all came from Eastern Europe. There is always war in that area and the have one of the strictest government. Although some of them are considered to be developed countries, the people are not that happy. Money isn't everything.

In our country, I think the government are also strict but since Filipino people are very "pasaway" the government can't handle us all... They are only few to stop us from being "pasaway".. Well, money isn't really a big deal in terms of being happy because we can just earn money when we work hard but getting happiness isn't that simple especially if the people who can make us happy are not with our sides.. We can't buy happiness.. Maybe, for some situations like material things we sometimes get some happiness from it but not the whole happiness because not all material things are always new, it also grows old and sometimes destroy.. We human being sometimes likes all new things so when our favorite stuff isn't new anymore, we used to changed it.. But having those people you love can't never be replaced, they always be new in our eyes and they never grow old and destroyed just like our favorite stuff.. Anyway, thanks for sharing.. Always keep smiling.. Happy posting..
