winning photo - i need you opinion

hello ellie, it's nice to see you again here. you're the first one ever noticed what i wanted to hear from anyone. it's just my opinion that indeed, has a balance of what is natural and manmade. i never thought about it until the time when i decided which of those pictures i got from my vacation that i'm going to submit. that's the time it captures my meager imaginaton that i did capture something on it. after then my interest just keeps on growing. great job ellie.

how i wish that i am. but no, i am not. i'm only a hobbyist and a new bee into photography and still experimenting anything out of what i got. no sort of education and just get my knowledge on research, reviews, forums and blogs from professionals and hobbyist too. i've been taking pictures off and on, about 3 years or so and yes in the future when i get my dSLR already then that would be the time i'll try to be serious. there's just so many limitations in PnS cams and i cannot do more with what it offers. yes, there's a corresponding cash prizes in every category of the competition you'd like to join. this is an online photo contest and is open to international members that is more than 18 years old. the company is based in israel, payment will be done thru paypal. the site name is "competico.com", you can check it's FAQ and terms for more details. i hope i covered everything that you need.

i was just so lucky to get that side while the sun is still at my back. the timing is just right when we go there and check it out. it's actually a hundred steps climb to the top. this picture captures my attention knowing i only use a PnS and 4 megapix. thanks reiny.

thanks ron, i believe so that it is the appropriate title since it is also standing in a hill that has a hundred steps for you to climb in order to reach the top of the steeple.

truly indeed that it seems an illusion. but you know what, it just so happen that i took the shot at the right time when the sun is slightly at 2 o'clock behind me on my left and it's a little bit off the angle too. if the sun is at the back of it, i think we won't see this kind of image.that was just a lucky shot.

you are absolutely right.!! yet on the other side that depends on the category of the contest that you joined with. in fact the winning piece is a foot from a child and a grown up placed side by side and i guess they are lying down when it was taken.

i'm only a hobbyist and still starting to learn how to shot.thank you though for the recommendation and it's nice. i have known one and it's name is shareapic. does that ring a bell to you? and when you got something, don't forget to let me know. right now i am having fun doing it.

thanks for the appreciation, it would make me do more and refine the skill (if there's any) to shot and capture. i am still new in this kind of hobby, it's just i need to know about this and i am doing some prep to acquire a better digicam that looks like cool.
