What absolutely bores you to tears?

When someone talks about something I don't understand at all. Or when someone jsut debates about an issue that is not worth the time debating about..

Math! Anything type of math puts me too sleep....as much as I need to stay awake in my math courses in college as soon as the professor starts talking (and could of just have a large coffee) I fall asleep!! I can't do my math homework before bed either....because it won't get done.:P

People who obviously do not know what they're talking about and yet they keep yakking. Stories that I have heard more than twice. People who have nothing to talk about but themselves (It's okay to talk about oneself, but to talk about oneself all the time...hohum...).

When my daughter calls me and start telling me about the advice she gives her friends, she thinks she is Dear Abby. She is very talkative, and she is guilty herself of the things she is advising them on. If I say anything about her guiltiness she will say I hurt her feelings so I just listen.

Neighborhood gossip. We've got a couple of neighbors who come over and call my mother to talk about other neighbors behind their backs. I really hate it. I told my mom, well now you know who to NOT confide in.

when my husband talks about his eldest daughter. like how they are so alike in many ways, she's like him, they have a lot in common, blah blah blah. he dont see that she's a very spoiled lady and want t buy expensive things and dont value money.

LOL Usually it is when Hubby starts going on and on and on about politics and finances. Not only do not understand alot of it but it doesn't really interest me all that much. Then again I'm sure he's not all that fired up about cross stitch and quilting and there's times when I get pretty winded about those topics LOL

I guess finances would put me too sleep too, or the stock market because I don't understand it. I hate history! I hated it at school and used to fall asleep Worse time ever hearing about it was on a date! OMG I was looking everywhere but at him It must've showed too, because he actually asked me if he was boring me... I wanted to say 'yes' but my manners made me lie

i agree with you about recapping a whole movie, there's really no point watching it after someone does that and it's boring at the same time. the main thing that bores me is gossip. when family start telling me about what the neighbours have been up to or who's recently had an argument with who then i feel like saying "i really couldn't care less, it's boring!" i usually suffer becuase i'm too polite to be offensive and hurt people's feelings but gossip definately bores me to tears.
