Riding a bicycle

When did you lear to ride a bicycle? Who tought you?
I was about 5-6 years old. Im sure they tried to learn me before, but I cant remember that. I do remember though it was one sunday afternoon and I was at my grandmas. Everyone was i the house (probably watching me from the window lol) and I was outside, basicly fighting with the bicycle heheh.
But sudenly I was driving about 20m...and it felt so great. Well I wished later I learned where the breaks were before hiting the neighbours fence LOL

I was actually the first person to ride a bike of my three siblings. It caught my mom off guard for she thought I would never learn. See they never realized the bike they gave me was 2 times to big and I borrowed my brothers bike in frustration and had no problems. However my grandfather who was trying to teach me to ride was sooooo pissed off that he gave me a tougne lashing for not waiting for him to help me and to take all the glory our of my achievment. SOOOOO silly.... Joys of a screwed up home life!!!!

I still am in a way. never liked going down hills :/ I remember when I was 15 or so (just those silly years) I fell going down hill, because the road was all muddy. The problem wasnt that I fell, but that I fell in front of 30 workers...male workers. Oh I wished the earth would just open ans swallow me LOL

I rode on a bicycle when when I was still in grade 1 but I can't reach the pedals so it ws very difficult because we only have an adult bike. Then i was 11 years old when I really taught myself to ride the bicycle. Just one round of the ballfield oval then I ready to go out into the streets but I did bump first into the cemented seats because I forgot to break LOL
