How to help not have a hangover in the morning. What do you do? |
|
I take Evening Primrose Oil. I found if I take about 1000 mg I do not have anywhere near the problems in the morning that maybe I should have after an evening of a couple or more drinks. Ok well a few more than a couple.;-)
What do you do to stop yourself from having that inevitable hangover from a night of a good time and having what you know is too many drinks?

1. ShellyB (3008) | 1 year ago | I stop a hangover by not drinking. I have a teen at home, the last thing I want to do is bring alcohol to the home and her see me with a hangover so I just do not drink. But that's just me. I have seen more things on the market to avoid the hangover and well if all fails there is the next morning, a beer with hot menudo (or any spicy food) it is supposed to work. Or something like that.

I too have a teenager at home and one moved out. But it's not like I am drunk every weekend it's just a once or twice a year thing. You know you have friends over and you are all chatting, munching and drinking and maybe you should not have had that last two drinks but they went down so nicely. Then you realize before bed Uh Oh I AM going to pay for this in the morning if I don't take something now for it.

2. lovelyladydancing (701) | 1 year ago | I try to drink water before i go to bed. Hangovers are caused by dehydration. If I can't manage to do it before I go to bed, I drinks a couple of glasses in the morning. It really helps me.

3. frozenthrone (239) | 1 year ago | I've learned from my chemistry class when I was in high school and also base on experience I've concluded that you should be eating more while you're drinking and you won't easily get drunk and you can avoid hang overs the next day. When you're drinking do the 3:1 ration meaning eat:drink. The reason behind this is that, if you eat while drinking, the food will absorb the alcohol and not the body. just try it maybe it'll work for you. Thanks!

Anyway that is really good to know and try. Thanks.
