Why do you put a signature in your post?  

Well, for me those people who post their signature to their post is simply for recognition and flaunt it...flaunt it because you love what you have said in that certain post...flaunt it because it was or is worth posting...flaunt it because you have a great idea and you have expressed it beautifully...there! that's one of million reasons why you have to put a signature at the end of your post!!!

Hi Ronaldinu, I have always from day one put my name and a smiley happy face at the end, I just think it is polite, I always start with saying hi to the person I am responding to also. Ellie :D

I will not put a signature in my post.. Because i dun see any point in doing that for myself.. and if other members really meant to copy and paste, they will be able to clear away the signature b4 posting it.. lol =D

BUt to some, a signature is to earn recognition for themselves, and that their posts must be something very good or profound that makes it so unique ^_^ As for me, my comments and posts are always so general, so i dun really need any signature to earn any recognition for myself ^_^ hehe

I don't put a signature here and I think as long as people can edit, they can edit your signature out if they really wanted to copy your discussion
I however use this option on other forums and is sometimes a link to my site

I hadn't thought of putting a signature in my post - goodness, are people REALLY copyong and pasting other people's comments? Why would they do that? It seems like a lot of trouble to go to when it's easy to make up one of your own. Couldn't they still cut and paste it, and just take the signature off? There must be some nutters around, if they want to steal other people's comments ... hahahaha!

well, it's sure not because i'm worried about anybody copying me w/my silly mess. guess i would be a little flattered if they did. i don't always put a signature. sometimes i will sign it w/my name which is jo.

I do not put a signature at the end of my post because i donot post discussions ...only response thus the 3 rating ...However i think of it like an great artist who at the bottom of his painting signs with his signature As far as Mylot is concernd if they copy and paste anything that is not there they are kicked out I have seen dozens of time Good Luck

Why do you put that copyright junk on all of your posts?

Well, it is just a habit. I always sign everything I write down. That's why I sign my posts with "cheers and happy mylotting." I am not worried about anyone stealing my stuff. LOL!! I guess a signature doesn't really protect your stuff from plagiarism.
