both of my parents have eye glasses. but they don't wear it everytime. they just use it for reading. some old people (even younger ones) that i know wear glasses all the time because of their poor vision. they cannot recognize people without their glasses. Well, lucky for me cause at 28, i still have "20-20" vision. :)

don't hope that your sister will sooner have to wear glasses too. anyway, try to rest your eyes once in a while when using your computer.

Thats great that you have 20/20 vision. I wish that I could say the same about my vision. I am 26 and I am blind without my glasses. Both of my parents wear glasses and they wear them all the time.

that's a sad thing. well, you just have to bear with it cause i think eye problems are quite irreversible.

Yep, both of them do. So do I. But I do need to get a pair of new one. I am starting to see bad in my age of 43. It is time to change glasses. I have had the same for more than 8 years. However, I do not like it. Glasses in Sweden are expensive and for a pair of progressive glasses you have to pay more than 5 000 sek. that is one third of my salary after paying taxes. But, this month I will get an extra salary to use for new progressive glasses, by the way, I never have used progressive glasses before, but I think it is time to get them now. My eye vision is so bad now. It is really funny, things you relly need bad are so expensive, and the producers can take high prices for it since we really need it. It is like the dentists, it is the same, it is so expensive to go to a dentist that many people wait to long to go.

yes, both my parents have eye-glasses too. but they wear them all the time. I've heard that it helps improve your vision if you keep your glasses on at all times. but of course, this doesn't apply to reading glasses. one of my cousins, who is only 10, has glasses and his vision is really bad. but the reason for this is that he refuses to move away from the t.v. and he has to watch it from up close... and the thing is, he doesn't listen to anybody. i guess no one of his age does... anyways, happy myLotting

that's bad for him. his too your for that. anyway, i also had a nephew who had to wear glasses when he was only 7 years old because he needs to correct his vision. it may cause him to be cross-eyed if it was not corrected that early.

Hey marosequf Yes my both parents are wearing glasses since long. Myself also wearing specs since last 5 yrs. Earlier I was wearing glasses but recently I have opted for contact lens, which is more comfortable and easy to use. Though there are merits and demerits, but I think conventional method is better. pkc3000

Ya my parent wore glasses when they read too. They are not wearing glasses all the time so that the vision wouldn't get poorer.

both of my parents wear glasses and last time I had my eyes checked, I think I might have to be open to the possibility of wearing a pair myself a few years from now. I don't mind though. There are really nice designs of glasses available. And it helps when I want to feel smart and serious

My mom wears eyeglasses due to poor vision and my dad wears something for reading. Nowadays, there is an increasing number of people wearing eyeglasses. Maybe it is due to the environmental conditions and eye usage habits.

My father wears glasses all the time because without them he is as blind as a bat,my mom wears glasses when she reads because she can not see up close very well, because she is far sighted, when it comes to me I am the opposite I am near sighted I can see upclose perfectly but I can not see far away,so when I drive I have to wear glasses so I can see the signs and stuff, and besides it says on my license that I have to wear them,so if I get pulled over and I am not wearing them I could get a ticket and that is the last thing I want to happen.
