Non-Traditional Thanksgiving Dinners  |

 We have tried a few non-traditional Thanksgiving dinners from mexican to charlie brown/snoopy styles. I always get my pecan pie tho'  Are you planning a traditional dinner this year for Thanksgiving? Do you have just one thing you make every year & then mix it up? I'd like to hear some idea's b/c I'd like to do non-traditional again but I'm no chef lol.

 meme0907 (1940) | 1 year ago | OOOHH LKo I love smoked meats-I used to work @ a restaurant called bennett's smokehouse & saloon we served all the smoked meats pork shoulder,beef brisket,turkey,chicken & we also had the best ribs mmmmm now you're gonna have to fed ex me some of that pork & turkey cause my mouth is watering for thanksgiving to get here lol

2.  twoey68 (9728) | 1 year ago |  Yup, traditional all the way. Hubby loves when I do the traditional dinners. We had a few bad years when we didn't have enough to have a traditional dinner but if it's at all possible I do it...afterall it's only once a year.

| 3. pyewacket (11696) | 1 year ago |  The majority of the time I usually prepare a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, but one time I decided to go all French...for the appetizer I started with French Onion soup gratinée, then as the main meal crepes filled with chicken and mushroom with sauce morney, and for dessert had poached pears in wine sauce...yum. Now that it's only me I don't really cook that fancy anymore, but will still cook my usual and more traditional Thanksgiving meal
