have you experienced a negative effect on memory after taking prozac?

i have noticed that i'm becoming increasingly forgetful. i asked my doctor and he said people react differently to meds, but prozac is supposed to enhance memory, generally. i'm wondering if there are others who have experienced a bit of deterioration in memory rather than an improvement.

I am usually pretty intelligent, but I experience some short term memory loss, or so my bf says. He says I remember things other than how they actually occur, or I forget saying or doing things. Like I forgot eating my dinner last night and accused him of eating it. So yes, similar experience.
