Do you usually make a list of people to whom you will give Christmas gift?  

I do have a list.I try to start early because it is a huge list.I have started on it , and began about a month ago. It takes me straight thru to Christmas to be ready. I am wrapping them as I get them but do not put the bows on untill the last few days before Christmas.

Not only do I make a list of people that will get a gift; I note what gift they got, and keep that for the next year - so I wont get them the same thing twice. I actually have a pad of paper that I keep with the Christmas wraps so I will never lose it. It's kind of fun to look back over the years and see the gift's I have given people!
Budget wise, yes, it will be a lot lower this year. Our circle of friends have always exchanged gifts; adults and children. This year it will only be the children to receive gifts, luckily we were all on board for that one!

Like you, I make a list of everyone I have to buy for, the presents I want to get and I cross them off as I buy them. It is the only way I can make sure I have everyone covered. It is useful for my kids because I try to keep things even and ensure one does not get more than someone else.

Yes, I make a list. The only people on my list are family members. I do have a budget which is $150. I'm a crafty person so most of the gifts I make myself. Last Christmas I made a fruit/snack basket for my grandmother, and a spa gift basket for my Aunt. Most of the items in there were free samples and travel size items. This year I'm going to make dog tag key chains for most of them. I have a three year old daughter, but she really don't care about receiving toys.

Personally, my Christmas list doubles as a list and a budget. What I usually do is write the name of each person I intend to buy a gift for and then how much I want to spend on that person. I then total the estimated amount and if it is less than what I have to spend, I look at the list to see where and who I should cut corners with.

I have a lot less money to spend on Christmas this year, so I am trying to find the best sales. Right now, I am only buying stuff on sale. If I have to later on, I will consider paying full price.

If you don’t have any money to spend, I recommend doing a homemade project, especially if it is for your kid relatives. I like to make homemade picture frames for my daughter’s room and her pictures. I purchased a big box of jumbo craft / popsicle sticks from Wal-Mart (for I believe under $4). There is 300 inside. Glue them together to make a frame and decorate (either with paint or markers) and insert a picture.

I have made quite a few of these for my daughter’s room. I am one of the least crafty people ever, but since they are designed for my daughter who is only 4, perfection isn’t an issue. And, most turn out pretty cute.

Yes until now I still make it a point to have a christmas list so I won't miss out any names that I have to give gifts every Christmas. It also help me stick with my budget.

right now i do have a few on my list. i try to make sure that the people whom i really care a lot and has always been there for me no matter what are the main priority.

I always make a list and I also list what I have bought so I don't double purchase and have too much for one child and not enough for another child.

I also keep the previous years list and know what I bought so I don't buy the same thing year after year....Then I also know who I can remove and who I need to add depending on the situation.

I have already started my shopping and am almost finished the kids gifts.

Yes, I have a list always! I should do that in order not to omit anyone. My list include names of mostly my loved ones which means my own family, the extended families like my Mom, my siblings, my nieces, my nephews, my grandchildren and my in-laws. So many names actually on my list and I really enjoy wrapping them all. It gives me joy to give during Christmas for that is Christmas is all about after all. (Remember God gave us His son...that is the greatest gift of all!) Besides, it is actually in giving that we also receive is it not? Gifts could come from those whom you have given or from others you don't even expect. And of course I love the excitement of opening gifts as well. God loves a cheerful giver and he has ways and means of blessing a giver.

yes..i've been doing this for years.. i don't want to miss out names most esp people who are special to me like family and some close friends.. i have started my early Christmas shopping but still i have a long list to accomplish..
