Okay so it hasn't happened yet but I think the new Huru Humi dolls are a foreshadowing. They talk to your child and if you place them next to each other they engage in conversation - polite. So your child can learn things like not interrupting.
You can read about them here - http://www.huruhumi.com/

To make this into a discussion - what do you think of toys like these - do you think they are good toys and teaching tools? Perhaps you yearn for the days that kids were more likely to use their imaginations?
Personally, I think these dolls can offer both! There's a video game my husband played some time ago where the main character had a doll - an animal that spoke to her and interacted with other ones - in fact one of these creatures played a main role in the game. I wish I could remember the name of the game - it was so vivid and the imagery so beautiful! And it was more a game where you figure things out - not a kill monsters/enemies type game.

Wow totally don't know where you got that. I asked what readers thought and if you read it again you'll see I'm all for it - I think its a fun toy that engages imagination as well as a teaching tool. I even give a link to a giveaway! REad it again and ask yourself if maybe you're paranoid! :)-- Did you just read the subject or read the entire thing?
In any case, what do you think of these cool dolls?
