We drove down there a few years ago. Of course, this is where Buddy played his last show. The ballroom is like a step back in time, and was told it has not changed much since 1959. The phone booth where he made his last calls is still there. We went out to the crash site, too. It is near the fence, in a cornfield. There is a small marker there. Many people visit these landmarks. Anyone here ever make the trip?
