But I did anyways!!! I finally turned in my mileage reimbursement today, for the whole year. It was a little over $136 and as my boss handed me the check he said not to go play Keno with it. Well, he knows me too well!!! I did go play Keno tonight with my friend Mary - and my husband and her boyfriend.
I knew it was going to be a good night because I had 2 checks today and they both ended with 36.73. I figured I'd play 36 and 73 first to see how well they did. Well, they did horrible! Mary arrived as I was playing my second set of numbers - you know, those numbers you get in the fortune cookies... I "won" a triple bonus right off the bat, which meant IF I won anything on that card it would be tripled. The most I could win would be $1,000 so I told them if I won that (and it would triple to $3,000) we were going to Vegas for Christmas! Well, the first game I won $5, then I won another $5, then just $1, then another $5 and nothing on the last game. Tripled, the winnings was $48!! I was already ahead for the night - WOOHOO!!! The next game I only won $1, but after that I won $51, then another $5! All in all, I ended up winning enough that dinner only cost $15 for me and my husband (and the keno ended up being free!). If it hadn't been for having to pay for dinner I would have come out of there with more money than I went in with. I haven't done that in a long time. Needless to say, we had a great time - even though I was the only one that won...

Well at least someone won. I love keno and won a pot of 50 dollars once and on a keno slot machine I won 45 so I do better with keno then I do with the slots. I am afraid of the table games. Congrat on your winnings and I am glad you had a great time. Look at it this way you would have had to pay for dinner anyway. At least the fun of keno was free.

The last two times I have been to Reno we did not bet a thing. I went into two casino's to eat but did not even slip a coin into a machine.

Ya know, I only gamble with money I don't "need". I was joking with my husband because I gave him $10 for something he needs to get done on Sunday. Well, he decided he was going to win too and played with the $10. He lost it! I had to remind him not to play with the "mortgage" money. I did give him the $10 again out of my winnings...
