Applied To Survivor?

Has anyone ever applied to be on the TV show Survivor? IF so- did you get very far? What do you think it takes to get picked? I have thought about applying but I don't even know if the show will be on the air next season. Does anyone have any information about this? About anything survivor that doesn't concern the current one being aired. Thanks in advance!

I have always wanted to apply. But, I *think* that you have to send in a video, too. And I am not very good at that kind of thing. I just don't think that I could present myself well on film, even though I'm a writer so I know that I could write a more than decent application letter. Oh well. Maybe I still will. I've only been watching for forever! :)

EA- I think if you wrote an outstanding application then the video would be second- but what do I know. I have wanted to apply to but haven't. I worry that I won't fit into whatever age group (you know the mom thing), maybe if they accept applications again- I'll just do it. Thanks for the response!

I would hope that you are right. Because I consider myself a pretty good writer. :) I think that you could probably make it on the show. They have had Mom's on the show before. :) I hope that you apply. :) Maybe I will apply, too! :) Thanks for your response, too! :)

Maybe we could both make it and the code word could be mylot- lol I know they've had mom's on before I just don't feel like I fit that standard typecast that it seems they use for that role/ person. Let's meet back here again and talk each other into applying- sound good? Thanks again for responding!
