do you ride a tricycle?  

I do ride a tricycle, everyday actually. It is the means of transportation here in our area. I need to ride on a tricycle before I can get to the jeepney terminal. It is basically a part of my everyday life. I remember one of my cousins who migrated to Canada when we were still 12 years old. She returned to the Philippines after 14 years and the first thing she did was looked for a tricycle and had a round trip in our area. The next day, she took the jeepney. Maybe she really missed it a lot and I can't blame her. They can only find it here in the Philppines. =)

Yup i always ride a tricycle.It is the main transportation in our village.Almost people living in the village are riding this kind of transportation.

Hi there. Yes, I usually ride tricycles. It's the easiest and cheapest way to get around, aside from jeeps. And yes, I've tried riding at the back and there was a time when I was in high school that I rode at the back in my school uniform. *lol* Anyway, so you're living in Baguio now? I have a friend from Baguio and the first time she saw a tricycle was when we were visiting a certain university in Quezon City and I kept on talking how the tricycle fare there is unbelievable and all the while, she didn't know what I was talking about since she said they didn't have tricycles in Trinidad. Of course, I didn't quite believe her but I guess it's true after all.

I rode a tricycle in the province a few years ago. There are no tricycles in Baguio City. I think it's the only place in the Philippines without any tricycles. Because I've seen some in La Trinidad, Benguet, which is just some 20 minutes away from Baguio.

actually, tricycles are not just found in rural areas. even here in the cities, tricycles are needed. well, i love in paranaque and we all know that it is an urban area but there are still alot of tricycle terminals here. we use tricycle for short distance travels. it would be impractical to walk from the road to your house because it is quite far yet also impractical to have jeepney or bus routes. what i hate most about riding a tricycle is the smoke it emits? it sort of sticks to your skin and clothes.

Where I live, tricycles are the only mode of transport available for going out to the main highway. I have to walk quite a distance to get to the terminal, and usually have to wait for quite a while because they won't leave until they are filled up. Here the minimum number of passengers is five. Yes, it is very stuffy and crowded inside, but I still prefer it rather than behind the driver. Air pollution and smoke emissions from other vehicles are really bad here.

i do ride a trike but not as much as in our village we only ride in a jeepney. unless we wanna special ride going home then we'll ride a trike. but we bought our own trike so my cousin can have a stable job and not be the "tambay" that he always is....we ride trike everyday

When I was living in Antipolo the tricycles there were only for 4 people so it's more comfortable. Now that I'm in Cainta, the tricycles I ride in should have at least 6 people. Four people inside, then two for the back. I like tricycles because It's a cheap way of transportation here in our country

Until now i haven't got any chance to ride on the tricycle, but when i get a chance i will try it. I love bicycles, i am having my own, daily i use it to go to my favourite places, whenever it get time, used to rome here and there, it not only relaxes my mind but also it is a great time pass. What is your opinion about bicycle. Do you like riding it.

back in philippines yes our way of transportation to city is motorcycle/tricycle and minimum fare is Php 7.00 and sometime when drivers there demand double ride when you are alone or when you are going to a far place.
that is why mostly people from philippines dont know how to drive because we have public transportation in any place we wanted to go which is different here in US where public transportation is not that much and some wont go to a place you wanted to you as mostly of them will just go in amusement park and back.
life in philippines is nice but when we are married we have to follow where our husband are living but who knows we'll be living in philippines sometime and i can ride tricycle again.
