today i watched Forrest Gump.

It's a very enjoyable movie. Pretty unrealistic, really, but still a great one to watch!

Oh, I love it! I really hate how a lot of well, "stupid" people get laughed at, and I love how he earned our love and respect as a character. I also love how we don't pity him for his low IQ, he makes it his strength.

Forrest Gump is one of my favorite movies. First of all, Tom Hanks is a brilliant actor who really brought the character to life and brought immense humor to the scene. This movie has also got to be one of the most inspirational films I have ever watched. It shows people that first impressions are not everything and that you can achieve anything if you try hard enough. I also like the symbolism that pops up in the movie (like the white dove feather, Jenny's old house, the birds flying from the tree that Jenny was buried under, etc) I never quite truly understood the meaning of the feather in the movie. I think it had something to do with Jenny and her dreams of becoming a bird so she could fly away from her problems. In the beginning of the movie, Forrest catches the feather because he is coming to Jenny's rescue once again. At the end, the feather blows away in the wind because Jenny is at peace. I think the scene where the birds fly from the tree when Forrest leaves his son's letter on Jenny's grave symbolizes that Jenny's dreams of being at peace have come true and that it is time to let her go and move on with his life.

I like the movie a lot too. I first saw it back in theaters when it first came out with my parents.

I have a friend who relatively recently became a fan of the movie too. He talks about the movie sometimes when he comes over. He's said that he's avoided watching the movie for a long time because of the previews or whatever he's seen of the movie. His reasoning is that he thought the movie looked dumb. Then one day it aired on TV and he decided to watch it he said. Now I think he really likes the movie.

I remember telling him one day while we were talking about it about how it's like it gets really depressing towards the end of it. As I also told that friend, I miss the kind of movies that Tom Hanks used to do like this.

This is one of my all time favorite movies as well. My favorite saying is " Life is like a box of chocolate, ya never know what you are gonna get.

I've seen this movie for many times,I think this is a good movie that makes me thinking.I was in high school when I watch this film firstly,it makes me change the thoughts to the the society and to the relations between people.

It was a brilliant movie and I just loved it.

I absolutely adore Forrest Gump! It is one of my all time favorite movies! It showed a wonderful man doing wonderful things. My favorite part of the movie was when he took care of his son at the end! I totally choked up!
