God's people...

When we live from and of ourselves, we will always be in a place where we lack originality. In living like that, we will probably lose ourselves to the forceful social powers that search to dictate to us the meaning of life and its purpose. When, however, we seek to live as God's people in our world, we will always need to free ourselves from these social burdens. For the values of the world are not the strings of a guitar which we can play, after hearing the melody of another. That melody may not always be clear but it has charmed us into by obedience by faith for the acceptance of our identity.
