You brought nothing into this life and nothing you take while you are here can you take with you when you depart.
Whatever you took or gave, you did so only here and only from God.
You came into the world empty-handed, and will leave empty-handed. What is yours today was another persons yesterday and the day after tomorrow it will belong to someone else.
How tru can this statement be ....

I definatly agree with you here. We are a far too marialistic society. I think especially here in the US. It is all about the "stuff".
For me, being happy and comfortable is much more important than having a great quantity of stuff. If I became wealthy tomorrow? Yes, I would build me a nice new house..but more a small cottage type, quiet, on a small body of water or lake. A fire place, simple things.
I do not need a lot of things to be happy. As long as I am warm, comfortable and know I can put clothes on my back and food on my plate I am happy.

it only means that materialistic leads you to nothing in this world..Being a materialistic person makes you happy but in the other it gives you less concentration to your spiritual needs. Don't be materialistic too much. Think of your needs and not your wants. and it is true that you couldn't bring all of your acquired things in life when you passed away. Happy mylotting.
