There is a very easy way to convert your old tapes to dvd's. What you want to do is take all your old vhs movies over to the trash can. Then you go to best buy and purchase them all over again.

LOL theres No WAY! I'm throwing away over 150 dollars of VHS movies and buying them all over again if theres a way I can convert them I would rather convert them I cant afford to waste my money and if you only knew how many grate movies I purchased I have some movies that are really hard to find and the thought of throwing them all away and buying them all over is just unthinkable to me.

There is software you can buy to connect your VCR to the computer to convert VHS tapes to DVDs. Sadly I can't think brand names (might write back if i find one) but they definately exist, and aren't overly expensive, i think in the $50-100 range (in Canada)

Yes! All the vhs tapes of my dad was brought to video editing store and we had it converted in DVD. Everything was so clear and my dad was so happy with the result. I think there's a software where you can convert it on your own.^^,
