Does anyone own a "Magic Bullet"? |
|
I had my bridal shower this past saturday & one of the gifts I recieved was a Magic Bullet. I've wanted one for years now, ever since I saw that silly infomercial on late night TV! LOL
So I was wondering if any of you MyLoters happen to own one? If so have you came up with your own recipes for using it? I'd love to hear them!!

Duvessa (705) | 1 year ago | my friends husband said that he used to have one & he said it was "totally awesome" that they used to use it for everything.
I tried to use it for a chicken salad type diner the other night with some leftovers & totally screwed it up! The blade wouldn't chop up the chicken & I'd cut it into small pieces, so I dunno....

Like a sweeper a door to door sales man sold us years ago, it would suck the rug right up off the wall, but the one he left at the house when I bought it wouldn't pick up the lint on the floor, come to find out it was a reconditioned one repainted. These people use this thing for hours at a time and they make it look easy, but not the same when we get it in our kitchen.

2. bdugas (2422) | 1 year ago | Yes I had one, and although it looks easy on TV, not as easy as they make it look, I lost mine in the hurricane, and I guess it didn't really matter, because it just sit on the counter after the first couple times that I tried to use it. I also bought mime because of that silly commerical on late night TV, love the woman with the cigarette hanging out of her mouth. They show popping in an onion, some garlic, etc, all those things have to be cut to the small size before you can get them into the cantainer. I did make a few drinks with it, but just didnt' see where it was worth having to cut up all those pieces of food before I could use it, guess maybe it did't work as fast for me or like I seen them doing on the show. Very rarely do you get the same results with something you see them using on TV, they have done it over and over again, so they know how t make it work. I hope you do better with yours, good luck

It makes a GREAT sorbet type thing. When my friends come over, we mix all of our drinks in the Magic Bullet. Overall I have to say, greatest invention ever!
