Nationalism is supposed to be an important issue. Students of every country are taught to be patriotic and taught to take pride in their tradition and culture and strength and wealth. Thus an Indian student learns that he belongs to country which the best in the world and definitely much better than the neighboring countries and that people of Pakistan are against anything good of India. A Pakistani student is groomed in the same way, that is, they are taught to think that India is not a good neighbor. This limitation of nationalism is really awesome and causes much harm to the humanity. What is your idea ?

I don't think nationalism is inherently harmful, but just like almost everything else it can be used in the wrong ways. Just because I love my country and I am proud to live here does not mean that I am going to harass other people because of the country they live in. Similarly, I love my mom and I think she is the best mom in the entire world and no one can convince me otherwise, but that does not mean I am going to go around shooting other people's mothers, right? I think it is perfectly natural and normal to have pride and love for your country, but some people simply take it way too far.
