 how did you become good friends with a good friend?
i am a shy person. that word tongue-tied? i know what it means. LOL! despite my shyness, i have a handful of really good friends. and what's funny is that they are all "friendly" people. what i mean is that it's them who found me and befriended me first. in other words, they were the ones who talked to me first and dispelled my shyness. now, after years of friendship, we are on equal grounds. i sure am glad they're like that:-)

3.  hellcowboy (4861) | 1 year ago |  Sometimes it is hard to find good friends,and sometimes it is hard knowing who you can trust,I have a couple good friends or at least they used to be good friends but they owe me money,and they only seem to come around when they want something so me and my fiance try to avoid them as much as possible,me and my fiance also have a couple of friends who are becoming good friends,because we are starting to spend more and more time with them,which is always fun,and then I have two best friends one is my fiance,who I love with all my heart and soul,and I know she loves me too, and she always knows how to make me smile,and make me laugh,and she can make me feel better if I am sad,upset or in a bad mood,and my other best friend is a guy I met in school,we have the same birthday,except I am three years older than him and that is part of the reason we became best friends,and he would do anything for me just like I would do anything for him,and that is the way it should be.

i also have friendships deteriorating because of money issues. there are really people like that, my friends call them "user-friendly" LOL!
anyway, it is good that you have made some real friends. as for me, it does not matter that i only have a handful of friends as long as honesty, loyalty and respect are present in our relationship.

4.  MinruWind (195) | 1 year ago |  When I was a young child (kindergardener or so), I made friends with whoever asked too.; ) Someone: "Let's be friends okay?" Me: "Okay." I spend most of my time along in the small school yard though, since no one would play with me, even if they were my "friends".: P I was shy as a kids for a long time. The only thing that stopped me from being shy was my fifth grade teacher, who gave so much easy homework that I finished it all and had nothing to do, so I decided to go talk with her.: P (Blah, run-on sentence.; ) ) Even now, my past childhood friends are still good friends.: D

i was a very shy kid too. and like you, i was always alone in the school yard. sometimes it bothered me because i got self-conscious. but the truth was, i did not mind being alone.

| 5. smiraki1 (27) | 1 year ago |  I AM A GREAT FRIEND! sometimes...haha...when i fist meet someone i love talking to them about everything, i love to connect with them in a special way ill keep talking until i find something that we're both really intersted in and have in common then i'll just branch off from there and talk about other stuff! it doesn't matter where i am or who i am talking with i always want friends! the feeling of being lonely kind of scares me. so that's why i try to find a new friend everywhere i go. i also love doing a lot for my friends sometimes the reason that i do loose friends is because of the fact that i give so much and put so much effort into the friendship that when i get nothing in return i get angry and feel neglected.
