Who has read, is reading or is planning to read Harry Potter?

I agree with you, I think too it's really sad that it ended. But... have you read the last book? I thought the end was pretty good. It really kept me a few days from doing anything else but reading Harry Potter!

Yeah, I have read all of the books in the series and just waiting for the last movies to come out. The last book was gripping and a bit depressing that people(witches/wizards) who I wouldve loved to see a happy ending ..died. The Battle was far out, I literally didnt move from my spot until I went through that chapter.

I don't read long stories either, because of a lack of time. But the Harry Potter's read so fast, that it doesn't cost a lot of time and I can put away the book for a longer period of time without forgetting the story.
You should really read the other books too!

Yes, the last parts were really good! Sometimes I could not sleep until Harry was OK, so I kept reading and reading. My boyfriend too sometimes told me to stop reading, because he wanted to sleep, but I just had to go on! He's glad that there is no new book anymore.... I think it's a closed story now, but I still miss a book that's written like that.

You should really read the books too. I think the books are much better then the movies. The way J.K. Rowling writes is so good, you really get hooked on reading the books. I think thats less with the movies. And... reading the book takes more time, so I really get into it. More than in the movie.

For me it was also a bit dissapointing to see the characters in the movie. I've made an image of them myself and it didn't match the characters in the movie. But now I've read the books I'm going to watch the movies, just to re-live the books again. But you are right: It's best to read the books and don't watch the movies at all.

Yes they are! Are there big differences between the books in the different languages? I've only read them in Dutch. But they're so good! I have the movies, but I haven't seen them yet. But soon I'm going to. There's no new book coming anymore, so to stay into the Harry Potter I'm going to watch the movies.

Maybe reading isn't you're thing then. But if you want to try it: start with books like this one. A lot of things happen after each other that will keep you motivated to read. And it's just not as difficult as real literature.

I'm 31, so you're not the only one who reads these books that are meant for children! But I also hope she's eventually going to write more Harry Potter books!

It's good to see more "older" people reading Harry Potter. I started reading them because the children at my work read them, but I think they're so good!

Hi meinkoos! I know that people older than me also like to read the Harry Potter. Actually its not the age that comes in between while reading good books, but a good reader likes reading good things written by good writers. And Rowling is one of that good writer, so I think that she should write good quality books like Harry Potter or something else & keep her readers glued to reading!!!
