Do you like to shop online or in the stores?

I responded to a similar discussion about online shopping. It was more about how often do you shop online. But I wanted to know which do you prefer, online or in the store? I like to think that I can find things in the stores 1st instead of relying on the internet all the time, as I like to think that what if my computer crashes and I can't get online. Or what if I didn't have one. I would like to think that if I'm patient, which I'm not,that I can go out and find what i'm looking for. The thing about online shopping, is that there are alot of items that you can find that aren't in the stores.That's what makes me pull the trigger on the credit card when I see something. I purchased a softball bat off ebay for a low price that I knew they don't carry in stores like sports authority or modells. And if they do the price would be more. I used to be real heavy into shoes and sneakers, especially the skateboard sneakers. There are so many skatebaord shoe company websites that you will not find in the stores. So I have no choice but to order online. I have recently cut back my online shopping because of some credit card fraud. There was some company that kept charging me $50 that I never heard of. That's the thing about online shopping, you have to worry about computer hackers stealing your credit card info.

I prefer physical stores for browsing and most o my shopping. But I must admit that occasionally, it is easier to shop online when you know exactly what you want and the stores are not carrying the item. For instance, some of the computer parts I need to upgrade my computer, I can't find in the stores, so it is online for me. That and I do a lot of book buying where I know the title and author of the book, so it is not like I am actually browsing---instead I am tracking down a copy of a book that everyone else is citing that I need for my own research. Yeah, I worry about my credit information also, but what can you do if the only way to get something is to buy it online.

I usualy only shop online to find things I am unable to find in stores. I do like shopping in stores because it is more fun for me to get out of the house and shop then to sit in front of my computer and shop.

Mostly I shop in stores it is good time pass. If time not there I go for online shopping. I choose from standard sites only. Because frauds can not take place in these sites.But some times there is some that there won't many models to choose like in shops.
