Guitarists - acoustic or electric guitar for beginners?  

acoustic or the hollow guitar is best for begginers like you and me.

Electric guitars are easier. The neck is slimmer and the strings are easier on the fingers. You'd probably get more callous from playing acoustic guitars than electric guitars. That's because you need to press harder on the strings to produce good tonal quality unlike in electric guitars, you don't need to bear down hard against the strings and frets because the sound is amplified.

However, if you've mastered an acoustic guitar, the progression into handling an electric guitar is easier than the adjustment it takes if you began from electric guitars and transfer to playing acoustic.

You must buy first a acoustic one....
