Whos responsibility is it to keep the house clean? The stay at home wife or the husband that is going to work everyday? It has been more concerning every day as I hear more and more husbands going to work coming home to a dirty house while the wife stays home by choice and watches tv or plays on the computer all day. I am just trying to get your opinions on the issue.

jesus777 the reason I posted this under the current topic is I am a christian trying to live the christian life and the bible states: "encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored{" Titus 2:4-5 "get married, bear children, keep house" Timothy 5:14 "But women will be preserved through the bearing of children if they continue in faith and love and sanctity with self-restraint" 1 Timothy 2:15 But in today's fast life styles I have noticed a shift from the bible and was looking for others opinions on the topic.

If the father is the one who is working for the family, then it shouldn't be added to his responsibility cleaning the house. The household chores must be the responsibility of the mother and their children. I think there should be an agreement between the man and the woman who will be handling the cleaning of the house. They should be mature enough to handle the issue since they want to raise a family then they should be responsible.

In my household I am a stay at home mom and mostly responsible for the house work. Its not that my husband worked all day, its that well, he never seems to finish what he starts. but i am learning to ask him for more help, because well soemtimes things can get overwhelming and as a mom you do so much in a day that when the house is quiet, all you want to do is relax. I don't belive the stay at home wife or mom should have to do everything, but i also believe the man who provides for your family shouldnt have to come home to a disaster of a house.
