i cleaned my room this morning and i realized just how vain i am with my skin. i didn't realize i use the following products: body wash, body polish, a loofah, a body soap, body butter, body oil, 2 bottles of hand and body lotions, 1 tube of hand cream, 1 small bottle of body lotion, and oh, a tube of stretch mark smoother. and i am using all of them!
i thought i wasn't vain because i don't spend much on make-up and i seldom go to a salon for a haircut. there are, indeed, different ways of being vain. i now realized that i'm a little too proud of my skin.
what about you? what's your vanity?
have a nice day!

I don't know! I don't wear make-up, I don't use polish, I only have lotion for dry skin. And, I don't go to a salon unless my sister offers to pay for it as a birthday gift or something like that. Maybe, that is my problem, I just don't care how pretty I look. I just care if small chrildren don't run away in fear when they see me. But, with the way some of these kids act now a days, I really don't mind that much any more! Ha ha My husband says that there are different kinds of vanity. That everyone is vain in some way or another, just some people are more pronounced then others. What do you think about that? Can everyone be vain, but some people just hide it better then others. Or, maybe just not even know that they are? What do you think on that?

hi, Carpathian!
i think everyone of us is vain, some--or most--of us just do not realize it :-)
each one of us must take pride of at least one thing about ourselves. in my opinion, we have to be a little proud of ourselves to be "healthy".
of course, too much of anything is bad for you, eh? we still have to be grounded.
just like everything else in this world, a balance is important :-)
