What Have You Collected When You Were a Child?  

Back in my elemetary years, I love to write penpals and I usually ask them that I am into collecting stamps and coins, they usually include stamps or coins when they write me back. Such that when I am 12 I already made a stamp book which I made it my own and usually bring it with me at school and use to show it to my classmates. Although, I have some of those stuff but not all of it until today, gee that was more than 20 years ago.

When i was in my childhood i was collected many were like marbles of boxes.I had
collected a stickers and wwf cards.I were collected a cricket cards.
My aunty given me a cycle as a gift in my childhood.I have collected the chocolate covers.Some important sweet memories.

I liked to collect cards,small stone.It is funny for a child to collect them!

When I were a child I like to collect stickers. This hobby started when I was twelve years old and at that time I was in standard six (primary school). At that time almost all of my friends have their own sticker books, and I was excited to watch them collect the stickers of hello kitty, garfield and many other cartoon characters. I was willing to buy the stickers even if the price is expensive. Each sticker values around RM0.10 to RM2.00 and I bought all of them. I always waiting for new ones to arrive, and I bet my friend who sold the stickers must have smiled widely because I was a regular customer who buys a lot.

I still have the sticker book but it is at my mother's home. I didn't take care of it because somehow I lost interest in collecting it when I started secondary school. So I gave the sticker book to my sister and I guess she also lost her interest in stickers when she started her secondary school in a boarding school in another state. Just recently I saw the book was in intact and it was put by my mother at the upper shelf of the display rack in her second living room upstairs.

If I have a kid I think I am sure to give the sticker book to my kid. Unfortunately I don't have any, so I guess the book will lie around for some more time in the future. Maybe I will give it to my favorite niece, I am not sure yet because she is a bit naughty and still doesn't know how to appreciate things. If she is not naughty anymore I would give it to her.

Earlier quite many years ago, I would collect stamps and coins and photograph of celebrities and cricket stars. I would paste those photographs on the album. One of my friends used to collect used match-sticks boxes and cigarates. However, over the year I realized that there is no use of collecting 'dead' things. It does not serve much purpose.

i used to collect photographs of players from different countries.specially,i remember in 1994,world cup football......
i collected the team photographs as well as players photographs individually.
i remember I collected about over 50 photos of Romario's photo & over 70 of Maradona's!
Later on,I collected cricketers & tennis players photographs too.
but i lost all of those nearer about 2000 photos while my family was shifted to other city..
i guess it was for i later also collected about 20-30 nude photographs of bikini girls....lol...

I started collecting the stamps of different countries since I was eight years old.I still have that album with a large collection of stamps.

I still remember when I in my high school days I am fun of collecting different kinds of stationary.I remember that I bring it always in the school and there was a time that one of my classmate find it my bag then she ask me if she can have one of it then I said sure then she choose the one that is my favorite and it is the nicest one but I gave it to her. and now i did not know if where are my other stationary I put it.And it is nice to collect things if that can make you happy.

Yes, actually when i was a child i don't have those collections that are mostly be bought from the stores, all i have were those some drawings that i have drawn before. all i need were paper, pencil, crayons and a scissor.. most of the things i drew were animals, i put them different colors and then i cut them out, and then i put them inside the envelop and keep them... those things are until now being kept and whenever i got home, i always find them.. they are now full of dusts but still there.

Hi. me, i still got thousands of playing cards which i usually play with my playmates when i was still in elementary grade. i got 1200 pieces of assorted colored rubber bands but i don't know if they still count the same as i counted them last because my cousins usually use it tying their hair..haha i still got a box of small cars which i displayed inside my room and of course my ever loved pillow that i cuddle every night. my mom bought it when i was still 3 years old in the other country.
