get togethers  | |  Well today we are having a poker day. We have invited some friends over to have some adult time. Sit around play a friendly game of poker, drink coffee, snack around and talk about nothing. We try to do this once or twice a month. Does anyone else have get togethers?? Like BBQs, or charades, or whatever??? In the summer months we like to have BBQs.

The fireworks display for our town is right in our back yard. So we have 15-20 people over. Food, friends fireworks. It is a wonderful time. We look forward to it every year.

It is important to have like minded people for the gathering and keep some people who do not gel together out. It is fun to organise some party games and have a lot of fun. A few adult games too are interestingif children are not around, but can be fun only if everyone is sporting and does not take offence.

It gets old being the only ones wwo would do anything and no one wanted to help pay for any of it either. Hope you had a good time and won your poker game.
