Last night we went to kmart and I saw these noodles in the "food" section. I have never bought groceries from kmart before and was a bit hesitant. I figured though if I can go to walmart and buy anything then i can try them here. I got some yakisoba teriyaki japanese noodles that you make in the microwave and decided why not try them. They have little vegatable pack and the flavor pack. So I just tried to make them, and they turned out to be actually very good. I was really surprised!
Have you ever done this and tried something new and found you liked it?

I do that a lot of times if I am free. Each time I see a new fastfood or restaurant open up near my area, I make a point to find time to sample their menus.
anyway, there was this food joint that I noticed for the first time. It's name was "Binalot" or "wrapped" in the Filipino language. The concept of the restaurant was truly native: the food is served wrapped in banana leaves which is the traditional way of packaging food in pre-modern times.
So here I am ordering one of the most delicious looking dishes in their menu. I was having doubts because it was the first time I ate from them but in fairness the food taste awesome! Since then I've been visiting Binalot every once in a while when I have the time.

Yeah, after the experience at Binalot I upped the ante and developed the habit to sample every restaurant -- as long as I can afford it -- that's new to my eyes. This year I stopped doing this food trip because I had a lot of bills to settle that i almost have nothing left of my salary but next year, I'll go back to it again. I miss it, even though there had been good and bad times.
