Why are the people on Craigslist so rude

I know people who posted wanted ads on there and get all kinds of rude emails telling them to get jobs, not have kids, etc. I am talking about the people who post that they are wanting something. Not the ones asking for money or cars or to have their bills paid. I mean the ones asking for beds, tables, couchs, etc.
I walked to a lady who posted wanting to help an elderly person for christmas with a meal and a small gift and she got all kinds of rude emails because he wanted to help the elderly instead of children. So why are the people on there so rude? I posted wanting a bed and was told to get a job and stop having kids. And to vote for Obama since I got a free car. I would really like to know where that car is a was supposed to have gotten.
I just don't understand. In the last 4 years we have given away for free a car, a pickup truck, all kinds of yard toys, shoes, furniture, cribs, thousands of dollars worth of clothes just a couple months ago many with tags still on them. Just a couple weeks ago I gave away a dress with $140 price tag still on it from Belk's. But when I ask for something I am told to stop begging, get a job and stop having kids.
