Are there still honest people?

We have an incident here in our company where one employee forgot to lock his locker . The next day he found out that his piggy bank which is full of coins P5 - P10 was already gone. He immediately reported said incident to our security head and massive search was done. All our lockers where forcedly bolt cut knowing that the said piggy bank might be recovered but to their dismay it wasn't found. The next thing they did was to investigate all the people on duty that night. They were threaten to be placed in a lie detector to detect who is the prime suspect. Three days have passed, the security head announced that the case was already closed. We were curious about it and in the meeting they told us that someone stole the said piggy bank. The suspect admitted and that he was tempted to get it because he badly needed money. I knew this person and I was shocked because he has an angelic face and I thought he's not the type of person who will do this kind of thing. LESSON LEARNED: It's hard to determine who has honest and modest intentions.

The are still honest ple around, but when it coems to desperate times, all honest ple will change.. Looks are always deceiving, and that honesty should not be about looks only.. It always pays to be careful with own belongings, b4 we regret when we lose it, and start blaming others for our own carelessness.. Come to think in this way, who wont be tempted to see money and wont pick it up?? Even though it's maybe just a few dollars on the ground, most ple will take and go.. What's more a piggy bank?? So if there's anyone to be blame, blame it on the careless person whom allows the temptation..
