Talking isn't the only way to improve your English. Watching movies (at first with subtitles then without), watching TV in English, reading in English as well as writing in English will help you as well!
Even being on mylot, reading and responding to discussions will improve your English (so it's a great start!)

Me too.My english is also poor.I do participate in the mylot to improve my english.Usually,I feel difficult write articles in english.I did take part in lots of english forums before joined the mylot,but I get a slowly improving.Because they don't require communion in english as only language.I love mylot where english is a only official language.
