Thinkpad is the brand name given to the laptops and notebooks manufactured and sold by IBM. Since the year 2005, the Thinkpad laptop is manufactured by Lenevo.

Thinkpad is a product name by IBM in their laptop series. Due to its strong branding and trustable reputation, Lenovo kept the name and carried on producing Thinkpad series. IBM has sold away the rights of Thinkpad and desktop PCs. They are now focus on providing bigger solutions like servers and networking for large organizations. Happy MyLotting...

Yes Thinkpad is a brand of portable and notebook personal computer which has been manufacture and sold by IBM.Since 2005 the IBM PC division has been purchase by the Lenova, China's largest and world's 4th largest personal computer manufacturer, the Thinkpad has been manufacture and sold by lenova only. IBM still helps in marketing and support of this product.
