Surplus Shopping and Thrift Shops  | |  My mother is fond of going to sale shops and surplus shops for a variety of reasons. She is very good at choosing which item to buy and she knows the value of her money. We even got a Turkish curtain sold at a very low price. Have you gone to garage sales and other thrift shops? What has been your experience? How can you make the seller say yes to your given price?
