man or woman...who makes a better friend?

I am a woman but most of friends are men. 
I am not saying that they're better or what but it seems that I get on much easier with them.
I also have friends who are female and I treasure them a lot too. How about you? Who makes a better friend? A man or a woman and why?

Hi diutay,
i knew I would hear from you again as I have been thinking of you of late, I was wondering if you were coming back and now you have, welcome back and hope you are fine, I do have some male friends but I have more female friends, but my male friends makes a better friends though. Hus. missed you.

I am a woman and most of my friends are men..for some unknown reason I seem to be able to talk to them more than I could a woman...is it because some women are more overpowering in nature that women seem to make friends with men so easily, it befounds me..littleowl

Gender has zero to do with it..its about character, personality and compatibility...Whether or not a "better" friend is male or female is just coincidence..
