Computer to TV Connection?...  

You need a video cable and an audio cable to connect your laptop to the TV..
Try ask your nearest computer shop.

does your tv have the port for such connection? and what type of laptop do u have?

in the most lay man way (since i'm also a lay man), you need to have connection port at both the tv an the laptop. for my home this is what i do

1) use the cable that connects between a pc and it's monitor (the cable head has a 15 pin/hole)
2) plug it to the laptop and the tv (since the cable head is so different, you either have it or don't have it.)
3) on your laptop (XP version), right click the desktop and scroll to graphic options/display and you should select dual display (XP version is plug and play so if both laptop and tv is on, it should automatic detect the tv as second display)
4) on your tv, switch between tv/av channels to find your laptop screen display.

Please note that such connection only gives visual display, the audio will still be from the laptop(I haven't figure how to transfer the audio yet).

If you are unable to do the above, it means you don't have the required port and thus you will have to go buy a tv box from shop to do the connection and the shop would be able to give u proper direction on the tv box connection.

if you've got a video out (usually a yellow coloured tulip female) get to a hardware store get a scart to tulip and put the scart side in de tv tulip in the laptop.
look at your'e video driver (ati is best when it comes to leading a signal to the tv)if you have an ati card just look for the drivers from ati Catalyst or ray adams drivers, these will provide full screen theatermode so you have a normal screen at youre monitor (where you can check your'e mail,mylot;) and just stream a movie fullscreen to the tv (doing this for my son so he can watch nickelodeon jr)
