|  Have you ever given your cats a bath? If so how did it go? We have given my five cats a bath twice. We had a really bad flea problem and when we tried to use flea collars to correct the problem on our cats one got sick and almost died and two others had really bad sores on their necks. I use natural remedies now. I no longer trust chemicals around my animals. But giving our cats a bath was one of the biggest challenges I have ever faced. My husband dressed ourselves up in ACU's and pants. I stood in the bathtub with joy soap and a cup and my husband held our cats. It was hilarious to see them and we only ended up with two scratches. We started with the hardest and biggest cats first and works our ways to the smaller one. I do have to say that if you have more than one cat to bathe that is the way to go. Cause after the first cat all the other cats in the house know what is going on :)

| | I have one that was okay with it. She just sort of went limp and let us do what she wanted after she threw a little fit for a minute. While I have another one (shes really big too) that put up such a fight that we had to take her out of the bathtub, put her on the bathroom floor and pour cupfuls of clean water over her to get the soap out. Needless to say the bathroom was a mess. | | | |

| |  I've never given a cat a bath and I hope I never have too! I like the wipes for cats (and dogs, for that matter.) It's still hard with some cats because they tend to be afraid of them at first but usually you can calm them down and they end up okay with it.

| |  my sister got waterless cat bath stuff at target. You just rub it on their fur ad it is suppose to clean them.

| |  I have never given any of my cats a bath, but I have used wipes, which are very useful. Also, we have a rub in soap that only requires to be wiped off with a towel and leaves the cat feeling and appearing quite clean, without water. They still don't like it because it is liquid, but it is much easier for them to deal with than being dipped into a tub. No matter what product I use they still do not enjoy their bathing, but at least those things help make it less unpleasant for both them and me.

| |  I have a five year old cat and haven't given her a bath. She has claws and I don't like the idea of declawing her. For me it takes two people to bathe a cat. One to hold down the cat in the bathtub and the other to soap the cat. My cat stays in the house so she doesn't have fleas. When you wash your cats do they make funny howling sounds? I've seen towlettes for cats. I bought one, but haven't used it yet.
