Wolves in Ontario  | |  In the last couple of years, the wolf population has sky-rocketed in Northwestern Ontario, Canada, which in turn causes a decline in the number of deer. It's said that one wolf will kill an average of 17 deer per year. The crazy part is that just a few years ago, a hunter could harvest 1 wolf per day year round with a small game license. Now they've changed it to a limit of 2 wolves per year and each license is about $250 plus the small game license.
