Vice President Elect Joe Biden and his wife Jill are scheduled to visit current and (THANK GOD!) soon to be GONE V.P. the D1ck Cheney and his wife Lynne late Thursday afternoon at the official Vice Presidential residence. Biden has been a vocal critic of his predecessor, even saying Cheney has been "the most dangerous vice president we've had" in U.S. history. The D1ck has his own history, perhaps most notably shooting his friend in the face during a hunting trip a few years ago.
How do you think this visit will go? Are you really glad it isn't you who has to visit Darth Vadar?

Bah, I think it's over blowing things a bit. The meeting and transition between Bush and Obama went well and look how bad Obama trashed bush's administration over the last few years. I suspect this transition will go just as well. It's what they do, it's Washington.

I would love to hang out with Cheney. But if we were to go hunting, I wouldn't leave his side! I think the visit will go fine. These little "get togethers" are just pomp and circumstance. Not really productive, just showing the Peaceful transfer of power!

NO WAY!! I am still trying to figure out what he actually did for eight years. I guess he did make himself a target for ridicule. I mean seriously I dont think he'll be remembered as a great man. It will be as an idiot. I would think Joe Biden and family have to visit him as sort of a passing the torch type of deal. I am sitting literally trying to think of one good thing about him. I CANT! lol Lets just thank our lucky stars that G. W. made it through. I could never imagine him as a president. I guess there is something good to be said about this man. HE NEVER WAS NEEDED IN TIMES OF CRISIS TO MAKE DECISIONS. There is a god!loldl

I suspect it will be pretty uncomfortable for both parties, but then who knows? Politicians are adept at putting on an act, perhaps they should be called Polactors? They may well act all chummy greeting each other as long lost friends, smiling to the cameras, kissing the proverbial baby, etc, etc. So it may well pass off reasonably pleasantly, one just can't tell!
