Hi everyone! 
After watching the TV movie "Recount" and with the recent election of a new US president, I got curious about the difference between Republicans and Democrats. I'm not familiar with the two parties since I'm not from the US. I knew long ago that these two parties exist but I've no idea as to their characteristics.

Republicans are generally conservative in their views while Democrats are generally liberal . Republicans are more prone to fight and democrats are more prone to open dialogue to negotiate a solution. In my opinion , Republicans are best suited to lead during time of war.
