One Ear and Goes out the Other Ear

What if we never really forgot? What if there was a reason behind everything? What if we had to keep reliving everything that happened because we remembered it. What if we all got slower and slower with time.

Well we forget because we are not using the necessary techniques to store the information in our short term or long term memory. It depends on how you perceive the information to what exactly you will do with it. If humans did not forget, wow ... I am not sure. There are number of possibilities here..such as being more intelligent; feeling more stress from listening to other people's problems; we could be more effecient... I guess really it would depend on the type of information we are talking about as the core foundation. This could go in both a positive and negative direction.
