i would go with halo and counter strike: 1.6 .. they are the best game ever.. i stoped playing halo but i still play CS..

I suppose I should say either Doom or Quake but in my opinion it is the COD franchise.

I don't know how well this will go over, but I still think Goldeneye for the N64 is the best FPS of all time. It was smooth, had a great variety of levels and weapons, and the multi-player was outstanding. It was hours and hours and hours of fun for me.
