Just Got Back From Walgreens - Look What I Got For Under $20.00!! Wow! I'm Happy / myLot

Walgreens Purchase 11/14/08 - Here is my Walgreens Purchase for 11/14/08 - under $20.00

Hello all my fellow myLotters! I posted in another discussion that today and tomorrow that Walgreens is offering a $5 off a $20 purchase in store and online. In case you missed that discussion here is the link to the coupon: http://www.walgreens.com/hotbuys/default.html?ban=flh_5_off_20_gobble I got back from a shopping trip an hour or so ago and here is what I got: 1 package of Pampers Easy Ups - on sale for $9.99 with a $1.00 Register Rewards coupon for my next shopping trip 4 rolls of Scotch Packaging Tape (I had a raincheck for this item) 2/$2.99 - so $1.50 each roll 12 Russell Stover Christmas candies - 4 each of the following with coupon for .39 cents each: Chocolate covered marshmallow Snowman Chocolate covered caramel Santa Chocolate covered strawberry cream Santa 4 Christmas pencils with toppers @ 2/$1.00 So, after tax and the coupons off my total was $19.28.

I am a very happy camper! Now I am off to go to another Walgreens and get my baking supplies for Christmas cookies and fudge, etc. Maybe get some more stocking stuffers!!

I wish we had a Walgreens near us. I have heard rumors that we will be getting one, and even have heard where it was going to go. I hope the rumors are correct.

I love Walgreens!

Most of them are open 24 hours a day and their sales prices are really good, especially when they offer these coupons! I always combine the sales and the coupons. I have to stretch my budget as much as I can. Thanks for your comment and have a great night!

Your welcome! They have some good things on sale this week, especially if you do baking for the holidays. They have peanut butter, Hershey's Kisses, sugar, cornstarch, etc. on sale so that could be a potential good buy. Good luck! Thanks for your comment and have a great night!

Wow. Very cheap I do say so indeed...I've never been to a walgreens b4. If I dont need real expensive stuff I'll just go to the dollar store or dollar general same thing but dollar general a lil more pricey but not much...If they dont have what I need there then Ill go 2 the expensive store. We don't have a walgreens here though....Hope u get ur bakin goods cheaper like u did ur other stuff, very cool.

Wow! You sure know how to find the deals! If I plan to go to Walgreens tomorrow, I'll definitely use this coupon! Thanks for sharing the link! I was out today for other reasons but stopped in K Mart because my son wanted to pick up a job application. While there, I decided to look around because I hadn't been in K Mart for years! They have sales going on all over the place! I bought some Christmas decorations at 50% off, slacks and a shirt for my husband at 20% off and more stuff like that. I saw that winter coats were 40% off right now! I don't need one so I didn't buy one but, wow! Going to websites of stores or even individual products is usually quite worth the time because they often have coupons you can print out and take to the store with you. I've done it with a lot of different things. If people just took the time to check things out before rushing to the store, they could save a lot of money! Again, way to go! Congratulations on saving so much money!!!

Thanks so much! I know I went to Kmart for the first time in years a couple of weeks ago. I did notice that the grocery prices were pretty high in there, but I looked at some of the Christmas stuff, like the decorations and blow-up stuff for outside and the prices were not that bad. Those winter coat prices sound wonderful and in good timing considering most of the country is getting colder weather about now.
